Meet Theresa
I work with those individuals contemplating divorce, those who are in the divorce process, those recovering from divorce and with children adversely affected by divorce. I became involved in Collaborative Practice and Mediation to ease the impact of divorce on the parties and the children. I provide coaching services, mediation services and services for the children (so they have a voice) to families going through the process of separating and ending the marriage.
The goal of the alternative divorce solutions approach is for all parties to move through this process with respect, cooperation and collaboration coming to resolution that works for the whole family. The services I provide help families cope and heal throughout the divorce process and beyond. Even though marriages may end the family lasts forever. Healing from divorce issues creates an atmosphere for the entire family to share in the milestones and big events all families’ experience. Wouldn't it be great to have both parents involved in the child's graduation, recital, wedding? To share in the birth of a grandchild? To celebrate together, peacefully? It's possible. Alternative Divorce Solutions provide the container for each party to be heard, to process their feelings and to find common ground to move forward separately while remaining connected for the children and extended family.
